Our AI tools and your data
We run two AI tools on our website: the AI quote, which reads photos of your home, and the rental contract check, which reads your lease. This page explains exactly what happens to what you upload, in plain language.
Open the AI quote How the AI quote worksShort version: your rental contract is never stored anywhere. Your photos are stored only if you choose to send your estimate to us, and then only as documentation for your quote. Nothing you upload is used to train AI models, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

The rental contract check
Nothing is stored
When you upload your lease, the PDF is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, passed straight to our AI supplier for analysis, and the result is sent back to your browser. The file exists only in memory while that request runs, typically for a few seconds.
It is never written to a database, never written to file storage, never attached to your customer record and never written to our logs — not the file, not the text inside it, and not the AI's raw answer. When the request ends, the document is gone. There is nothing for us to look up afterwards, and nothing for us to delete.
What the AI is told not to repeat
The AI is instructed never to output CPR numbers, bank or account numbers, or signatures — not even as a quotation. It reports what the contract says about cleaning, redecoration, deposit and deadlines, and quotes clauses that are worth checking.
Your legal basis and your choice
We only run the analysis after you have ticked the box confirming you understand the contract is processed temporarily and not stored. That consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, is the legal basis. You can simply not upload anything — the time estimator and the rest of the site work without it. If a landlord's cleaning list is uploaded as well, it is treated exactly the same way.
The AI quote (photos)

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in documenting the quote we gave you, under Article 6(1)(b) and (f).
You can ask us to delete your photos and your request at any time, and we do it within 30 days. Write to support@homecleancph.com.
Protection against abuse
To stop the tools being used automatically or flooded, we record your IP address with a counter of how many analyses have been run in the current hour. It is not linked to your name and is used for nothing else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service available, Article 6(1)(f).
Who else sees your material
The analysis itself is performed by Anthropic, the supplier of the AI model, acting as our data processor. Under the terms that apply to business customers, your material is not used to train AI models. Processing takes place on servers outside the EU/EEA, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Our website runs on Shopify and the tools run on our own platform hosted with Supabase. Beyond those suppliers, nothing you upload is shared with anyone. We never sell your data and never use your photos or your contract for marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to have processing restricted, to receive a copy, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Write to support@homecleancph.com and we answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.
A note on what the tools are — and are not
The contract check tells you what your own documents say. It is not legal advice, and we are a cleaning company, not legal advisers. If a clause needs a legal opinion, have it checked by Lejernes Landsorganisation or a lawyer. The time estimate is a recommendation based on your photos, not a binding valuation.
