Nobody wants to spend the morning after their wedding scrubbing a venue floor. And yet that is exactly what happens to a lot of couples, because most rented venues require the space back cleaned within hours of the last guest leaving.
We clean before the ceremony, after the reception, or both, in venues and private homes across Copenhagen. Tell us the venue, the date and the guest count, and we come back with a fixed price.
The part most couples find out too late
Rented venues, fælleslokaler, gårde and event spaces almost always hold a deposit against the condition the space is returned in. The handover window is often the same night or early the next morning, and the standard is stricter than people expect: floors mopped, kitchen degreased, bins emptied and removed, toilets sanitised, decorations taken down.
If it is not met, the venue cleans it and deducts the cost, usually at a rate well above what a cleaning company would have charged. Booking the clean in advance costs less than losing part of the deposit, and it happens while you are asleep instead of at two in the morning in a wedding dress.
What we do
- Before the ceremony: the venue cleaned and presentable, floors, glass, toilets and guest areas ready before the first arrival.
- After the reception: tables and floors cleared, spills and stains treated, kitchen and bar areas degreased, toilets sanitised, decorations taken down if you want them removed.
- Waste taken with us: bottles, packaging, flowers and general waste removed, sorted and driven to the recycling centre, so nothing is left for the family to deal with.
- The home as well as the venue: many couples host preparations at home in the morning and come back to it exhausted. We can clean both.
- Overnight and early morning: the standard slots for wedding work, so the venue is handed back on time.
Discreet during, thorough after
If you want us present during the reception to keep toilets and guest areas under control, we work quietly and stay out of photographs. Most couples book us for the clean afterwards only, but for larger weddings a presence during the evening is worth it.
How long it takes
As a guide, a venue for around 50 guests is usually 4 to 6 hours with a team of two. Larger weddings, venues over several rooms, or anywhere with a full catering kitchen take longer. Send us the venue size and guest count and we will give you a fixed price rather than an estimate that changes on the day.

Frequently asked questions
Can you clean the same night the wedding ends?
Yes, when booked in advance. Overnight is the most common slot, precisely because venues want the space back quickly.
Do you take the bottles, flowers and decorations away?
Yes. Normal wedding waste is removed, sorted and taken to the recycling centre. Tell us in advance if anything is being kept.
Can you clean our home as well?
Yes. Many couples book the venue clean and a home clean for the same weekend.
Will you clean to the standard our venue requires?
Tell us what the rental agreement says and we clean to that standard, so the deposit is released.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. Summer Saturdays go months ahead, and a wedding is not a date you can move.
