Festival & Concert Cleaning
Festival & Concert Cleaning
Festival cleaning is a logistics job, not a cleaning job. The work happens between the last guest leaving and the first one arriving the next day, usually outdoors, usually at night, and usually with more waste than anyone budgeted for.
We crew festivals, concerts and outdoor events in Copenhagen, across Denmark and elsewhere in Europe. Tell us the site, the capacity and the run dates, and we come back with a shift plan and a fixed price.
What we cover on site
- Toilets and sanitary facilities. The single biggest driver of how an audience rates a festival, and the area that degrades fastest. Serviced on a fixed rotation through the day, not once in the morning.
- Audience and crowd areas. Cleared and reset overnight so the site looks new when gates open.
- Backstage, artist areas and production offices. Discreet crews who understand that these areas have their own access rules.
- Bars, food areas and crew catering. Grease, spills and food waste handled to the standard the site requires.
- Camping and campsite areas. Daily upkeep during the event and full clearance afterwards.
- Site clearance after de-rig. Ground cleared and the site returned in the condition your permit and your landowner require.
Waste, which is where festivals get expensive
A festival generates waste in a volume that ordinary bins cannot absorb, and Danish sites are required to sort it. We collect, sort and move it, and we drive it to the recycling centre. For larger volumes we add trailers and plan the runs into the shift schedule rather than discovering the problem at 3am.
If your site has a container solution already, we work into it. If it does not, tell us the expected capacity and we plan the volume with you before the gates open.
We also crew the work that is not cleaning
Our teams handle the tasks that always appear on a live site and rarely appear on the plan: resetting areas between acts, moving barriers and furniture, unpacking and organising stock, tidying storage and back of house, and assisting the build and de-rig crews. Most organisers book cleaning, waste and crew together, because coordinating three suppliers on a live site is nobody's idea of a good time.
How we plan a festival
- Shift plan built around the programme. Overnight resets between show days, daytime rotations on toilets and crowd areas, and a full clearance after de-rig.
- One contact for the whole run. You brief once. We handle the rota, the cover and the changes internally.
- The same crew across the run. By day three they know the site better than a new team ever will.
- Fixed price agreed before load-in. Per day and per shift, so it sits in your budget as a line, not as a risk.
- Weather is planned for, not reacted to. Rain changes everything about an outdoor site, and the plan accounts for it.
Where we work
Copenhagen and Greater Copenhagen, Refshaleøen, Amager Fælled, and sites across Zealand and the rest of Denmark. For larger productions we travel across Europe with the crew, with travel and accommodation quoted transparently inside the fixed price.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work overnight between show days?
Yes. Overnight resets are the core of festival work and the reason the site looks new every morning.
How do you handle toilets at scale?
On a fixed rotation through the day, with frequency agreed in advance based on capacity. Toilets are the area an audience judges hardest, so they get scheduled attention rather than one pass.
Do you handle the waste sorting?
Yes. We collect, sort and move waste, and drive it to the recycling centre. For large volumes we plan trailers and runs into the schedule.
Can you clear the site after de-rig?
Yes. Full ground clearance so the site is returned in the condition your permit and landowner require.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as possible. Festival work blocks crews for consecutive days and nights, and summer dates go early.
How is it priced?
Per day and per shift, as a fixed total agreed before load-in. Send us the site, capacity, run dates and programme.
